Our History

The Water Polo section of Club Brains was born as a natural evolution of the work carried out over the years in our Swimming School. Taking advantage of the privileged setting of our semi-Olympic pool and the school’s strong commitment to sports, we decided to take a step further and create teams that not only learned to swim, but also to compete, to strive, and to grow together as a team.
Since its beginnings, Water Polo Brains has had a clear identity: to shape individuals through sport. Our goal is not only athletic performance, but also to instill values such as respect, discipline, teamwork, and camaraderie.
We began with introductory groups at the school level and, through effort and dedication, we have successfully built both female and male competitive teams across various age categories. Today, we have a solid structure that enables our players to progress from the early stages to high-level competition.
Our journey has been marked by great achievements: participation in regional and national leagues, players selected for territorial teams, and above all, the pride of watching well-rounded athletes grow both in and out of the water.
In addition to regular activities during the school year, we organize intensive courses and specialized camps, where we combine technique and tactics with team-building dynamics, social interaction, and fun.
Water Polo Brains is more than just a sport: it is an educational project where the water becomes the setting in which lifelong values are forged.

Serafín Rojo
Water Polo Coordinator at Brains Moraleja
With 40 years dedicated to the world of swimming and water polo, and nearly 25 of them at Brains, I’ve had the privilege of being part of the growth of numerous athletes. I consider values such as effort, perseverance, and teamwork to be essential both in and out of the water. Each day at the school is an opportunity to promote a passion for sport and contribute to the holistic development of our students.
